Look in a PHP Info screen to find the path that the php.ini is listed  
at.

Then use TextWrangler, or BBEdit ------> Open Hidden files to go to  
that location and open that file.

I'm away from home right now, using a Mac OS X 10.5 machine, and the  
PHP and Apache are different there, and I can't remember what the Mac  
OS X paths are.
