My recommendation is to use 10.8.5 if your machine will accept it…
I agree, the whole problem between OS X Server & FM Server 13/14 is a major issue for web publishing, and FMI needs to find a way to fix it. Just yesterday, one of my clients’ Apple rep (this guy is clueless) installed OS X Server on top of his FMS 14 machine, which totally messed it up. He’s going to have to do a clean install to undo what the Apple guy did (without asking for my guidance, of course). This same Apple rep told my client (I didn’t interrupt) that Apple Remote Desktop was no longer in existence… which is odd considering i use it every day. :)
