When I comment out the line below ( $new_job->AddDBParam('Vol_Länge', 
$VolL); ) - then it works fine

This is the part you are referring to - it is correct.

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">

I still get error 958 -
