I ran my resulting HTML through http://www.htmlhelp.com/tools/validator and,
wow, a lot of errors. Many non closed tags. It is amazing that the php work
on other browsers at all. I did not know there was that much difference in
browsers. BTW, I am using Dreamweaver 8 MX for code inserts, shouldn't that
be good enough? Although I am using DW for code, I am not utilizing FMStudio
yet. Not much time to play with it yet and most of my projects are
inherited. I guess this is a case of take time me now or take more time
later :-(

Dear John,

Every time I've had this issue, there was a html issue. Use
http://www.htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/
- it has saved me more times than I care to think...

Not really. Again, the number of pages I've had to 'hack' in order to
make things work on IE is astonishing. I loathe either being forced to
use tables for layout (when I'm in a hurry) or creating IE specific
CSS (when I have more time) in order to make stuff work properly.
And 7 goes into it's 'quirks' mode far too readily, effectively making
it act like IE6 on a lot of pages.
