[FX.php List] Using Value Lists?

Hello,
I am hoping I'm overlooking the blatantly obvious, but is it possible  
to get the contents of a value list out of FileMaker with FX?  If so,  
what function do I need?  An example would be helpful.

My hope here is that I can generate an HTML drop-down or checkbox set  
based on the contents of a FileMaker value list, so that the HTML  
changes as items are added/removed from the FileMaker value list.

Any help is appreciated,
