[FX.php List] How to process Kanji?

I'm doing a site for a client who's going to be inputting Kanji  
(Japanese); is there something I need to do either in the PROCESSING  
form or in the FORM itself that will make this work?

I'm getting a 958 error consistently when Kanji is input; when I test  
by inputting standard English into the same field, it works. Any help  
would be greatly appreciated...
