[FX.php List] ExecuteQuery mismatched tag error

Hi all,

Trying to use fx.php for the first time.  Having difficulty with the
Book_List demo.

When set up, the index.php page returns:

[error_message_prefix] =>
    [mode] => 1
    [level] => 1024
    [code] => 100
    [message] => FX: ExecuteQuery XML error: mismatched tag at line 6
    [userinfo] =>
    [backtrace] => Array

I can tell that the FM db is answering, because the error changes if I
close the database or turn off web publishing.

The uri it posts when debug is on:
http://Admin@192.168.1.100:591/fmi/xml/FMPXMLRESULT.xml?-db=Book_List.fp7&-lay=Book_List&-max=50&-findall

I'm using FM8v2 Advanced locally with the web server on the same machine.
MacOS 10.4.5
PHP 4.3.11
Apache 1.3.33
