[FX.php List] Export to MySQL

I am new to FX.php and was wondering if fx.php can accomplish what I am
looking to do.

I work for a company that uses FileMaker Pro. My primary job is converting
database information 

>From old OMS (Office Management Software) into FMP.  We are about to release
a new version of our software 

For FMP v8 (currently our platform is v6.5) the new version is not 100%
compatible with the old, due to the programmer 

changing his database scheme. This is where I come in. I am trying to
extract the old database information via php and 

store it in MySQL (in the v8 scheme) and then use ODBC to import the data
into the appropriate files in v8.

 

My question is, will fx.php let me do this, and if so can someone point me
to an example of code they use to iterate through

A FMP database..
