um, is it possible that perhaps you were not clear in your question?  
gtt's reply simply asked for your purpose in writing the script in  
the first place - a purpose you did not express in the initial question.

here's a thought to temper your froward comment:

gtt has gone out of his way to help you and you snap at him that he  
might as well not "bother to answer"...

unlucky you if he decides that's just what he's going to do from now on.

last week chris hansen (list dad) told everyone to play nice - so  
play nice and rephrase your question
