From ted-fitzgerald at uiowa.edu Thu Sep 18 12:15:54 2014 From: ted-fitzgerald at uiowa.edu (Fitzgerald, Theodore C) Date: Thu Sep 18 12:15:53 2014 Subject: [FX.php List] [OFF] PHP / FileMaker developer job opening at the University of Iowa Message-ID: FX.php users, The Enterprise Services Application Development group at the University of Iowa is looking for a web application and database solutions developer with some FileMaker expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience with PHP web development as well as FileMaker development. Many of our PHP applications are built with FileMaker as the backend. Some of the tools we use to accomplish this are the CodeIgniter PHP framework and FX.php. We also administer FileMaker Server for hosted campus solutions, so experience with FM Server is a plus. Those with experience in other languages or general database development with a desire to work in PHP and FileMaker are still encouraged to apply. You can view the full job posting here: https://jobs.uiowa.edu/pands/view/64991 If you know anyone who might be interested, please forward this on to them! Has anyone done this sort of integration? I?m digging into the API, but if someone?s already done it, I?d gladly pay for some wisdom and to speed up my dev. process. I have done some preliminary searches and it seems to me one could write some PHP code using FX for the FileMaker data part and use the SalesForce PHP toolkit (s ample code https://developer.salesforce.com/page/PHP_Toolkit_20.0_Query_Sample_(Enterpr ise) for the SF part. I really do not want to start from scratch. HAS ANY BODY DONE THIS? Or are there other ways you can think of to communicate with SalesForce.com? Any plugins? It also seem this is a potential opportunity to provide a third party api or tool for FM > SF > FM, anybody interested? I would be even interested in having someone write some sample PHP/FX code where I can take it from there. Thanks John Funk -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
