[FX.php List] Write from a JS web page to a single, new FM record … can someone help?

I am very new to the FX.php list and am needing help with what I believe is a relatively simple project:

I am developing a Javascript-only shopping cart page (you can see the development version at http://lifo.co/mocks/estore/111103/) and would like the “process my order now” button on this page to write out the contents of a Javascript variable (which will contain the entire order and credit card details) to a new record in our hosted FileMaker database.

The shopping cart will be hosted on the same FileMaker hosting service (DataTrium) as a secure (SSL) page.

For now, I am happy to just capture all the information from the variable to one field in one new record, and then parse it out to other fields once it has been written to this record. We do all our order fulfillment separately, including the credit card approvals, so there’s no additional processing needed behind this web-based form.

I would like to learn how to code this myself but will hit a steep learning curve, as I have not written much PHP before! Is there someone who could not only point me in the right direction as far the code itself, but also perhaps be able to work with me to code this? I have a modest budget for it, and would be thrilled if someone could help.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to review this project, and I hope to hear from someone on this list!

Tony.
