[FX.php List] FX and Editing Global Fields

Hey Bradley,
I fairly certain that syntax is used if you have to first populate a global
value before you need to use it, within a single session. Personally, I
don't see it being very useful in practice, but I'm sure some resourceful
developer is putting to good use somewhere.
If you can explain how you are planning on using the global you are trying
to set, or the purpose of the global, there may be other ways to accomplish
what you are after.
