[FX.php List] [OFF] Range of values query in the API

Using a FileMaker range works on date and number fields. Other
FileMaker query special characters work as well, like using '*' to
find all records with a value in that field, or prepending '==' for an
exact field match.

You should have no trouble using single quotes, double quotes, or
concatenating strings to feed into the query - they all work with
ranges.
