Yes, you can IM that link to anyone; however, my favorite method, and  
which I use as a hosting company, is to create "launchers" that I give  
to clients who don't seem to know how to connect to FileMaker Server  
without hand-holding. In some cases I've created launchers that have  
multiple buttons for opening various combinations of databases. I also  
have a configurable launcher for clients, which they can use to set up  
sets of databases that they can open with a single click; then, each  
employee can set up his own set of databases by using checkboxes, and  
open a dozen databases with a single mouse-click. This requires an  
extra database on the server, but they really like it.
