Well personally I'm not worried about it right now, but since  
Entropy.ch isn't being updated at all it seems, eventually instead of  
being a x.x.1 version behind it will be an x.1.x behind, or eventually  
a 1.x.x behind.

If people are members of the Apple Developers Connection it would be  
worth while filing a bug report about the missing GD Library, and  
other things, with a hope to urging Apple to include these things in  
what they supply, and then that way they'll take care of the security  
updates etc.
