[FX.php List] [OffTopic] FileMaker and AppleScript

I am doing some perform applescript with do shell script inside and
get error -10011,
it's obviously a warning and not an error as the effect of
the command( echo -n "test" > /tmp/test.txt ) fills the file and on
the command line this ( cat /tmp/test.txt )

outputs
---
$cat /tmp/test.txt
test
---

How can I find which errors are actually errors, and which are warnings?
