Bob, do you mean just as the client entered it into the FileMaker field? If
so, then there's no way to do that via the XML interface, as what's applied
in FileMaker is internal styling. I get around this with one of our
solutions with a series of 'style' buttons (bold, italic, etc), each of
which runs scripts that take the highlighted text and wraps it in the
appropriate HTML tags (<em>, <strong>, etc). These are then output as the
appropriate HTML and rendered accordingly.
