[FX.php List] (Off) LAJAX and checkboxes

Are there any other LAJAX users out there who have had a problem with
POSTing checkbox values?  It wants to submit all checkboxes as checked
even when they aren't. I think I had the same problem with radio buttons a
while back and settled on using a SELECT value, but my current situation
has 3 values so a SELECT list won't work well for the various
combinations.  I love LAJAX for it's simplicity, and don't want to learn
something like jQuery in the middle of my project.
