Corrupted field indexes?

With FMS v9, I was having a LOT of problems with indexed fields going wonky
with corrupted indexes. No obvious indication of a problem, just data not
being returned as expected from finds: Go to all of the referenced indexed
fields, turn indexing off, exit Manage Database (fields) entirely, then go
right back in and turn indexing back on for those fields. This will rebuild
the indexes for those fields.

I had to do this several dozed times (yikes!), but now with FMS 9.0v3 the
problem appears to be resolved, but it's too early to know definitively.
