Hi Bob...

Thanks for the advice, and you're forgiven, but only this once, since I'm a
Kiwi... doesn't bluecrocodile.co.nz give you something of a hint ;-)

Cheers
Steve

Yep, FMView() is the method, and then to put them into a pulldown, for
example, your FOREACH would be like this:

<?php foreach($vlResult['valueLists']['area'] as $key=>$value){
?>

construct your menu, have lunch, and since you're an Aussie (forgive me if
you're a New Zealander), perhaps a cuppa...

<?php
}
?>

You probably already knew this...

Hi all,

I've never used values lists previous that were actually defined as a list,
I've always stored then in a table, and used FX to get the data directly...

I'm currently working on someone else's database, and they have a number of
valuelists defined in the database. The preference is to use them 'as is',
however the valuelists component of the returned array is empty... what am I
missing...?

Thanks
Steve
