hi people
william, to answer the questions you asked .....
So, in Filemaker the fields are populated with the correct sum - is this summation an un-stored calculation field ? correct; un-stored calculation fieldHow is the relationship built ? multiple relations to one database, based on several different global fields
Result = sum(relation1:uren) + sum(relation2:uren) + sum(relation3:uren) + sum(relation4:uren)
Relation1 based on employeenumber, current year and global variable “_relation1” with fixed value
Relation2 based on employeenumber, current year and global variable “_relation2” with fixed value
Relation3 based on employeenumber, current year and global variable “_relation3” with fixed value
Relation4 based on employeenumber, current year and global variable “_relation4” with fixed value
Are there any global fields being to initialize the relationship ? yes; they make the difference between the different relationsIs there any other related data being exposed ? - Can you see the field FLEX::uren for example ? In Filemaker the results of the calculated fields are shown correctly. Also of each relation a portal is shown to be able to visually check the resultsSorry for the questions,
grtz.
Robert.
