[FX.php List] FileMaker Pro and Leopard... everything's peachy
here...

I decided, after seeing that the only issue that was mentioned with
FMP 9 was the language issue, to put Leopard on my laptop.
After using it all afternoon, I've had zero problems. I've been in and
out of FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced all day, mostly with remote databases
but also with a few local ones, and have had absolutely no trouble.
I also ran 8.5 Advanced with no problems also.
I should mention that I'm in the U.S. My understanding is that
residents of other countries will probably have some trouble,
unfortunately.
It's a shame that Time Machine won't backup to a remote volume, like a
HD plugged into an Airport Extreme; I can only assume this will be
remedied in the first update.
I also just ran a runtime that I created in either 8.5 or 9 (probably
8.5, but I don't recall for certain) and it also ran fine.
I wouldn't dream of updating my FileMaker servers anytime soon;
they're all running Tiger now anyway, which is fine for them.
I'm not posting this as any guarantee that any others will have the
same success, but on my MacBook Pro things are wonderful.
My impression of Leopard so far: it's wonderful. I was a bit put off
by the translucent menubar at first, but once I switched my bg picture
to a different one, I loved it. I have about 1200 excellent photos
that I use for desktop pictures (and also for art on my plasma TV in
AppleTV), and the menubar takes the top strip of the photo and alters
the colors a bit to color the menubar.
