I did a fair bit of research, as well as getting some advice from FMForums,
so in the end we did what we (I) could. Bear in mind that there are only 3
of us to manage the entire IT services and infrastructure of a large school,
so compromises always have to be made, and the occasional corner cut. We're
still managing the fallout, but overall it has been largely successful.
