[FX.php List] OT: mirroring DB changes over the web?

I have a two copies of a solution - one that is on our production server 
and the other that is served locally.
I'm wondering if there is a plugin or method that would mirror changes I 
make locally to the remote copy.
If I make a change locally (like fix a calculation or something) I have 
to make the same change to the other database to ensure both are exact 
copies.
Is there an automated method???
