Stephen,
Thanks for your reply; so all the .htaccess file would contain is the
line below?
I use Mac OS X Server, which insulates me from the innards of Apache
(which also means I haven't learned the innards too...). Would I put
this in the root directory for this site?
If I do this, then can I use UTF-8 on their pages and they'll be able
to see things properly?
