[FX.php List] Global field works on one table but not another?

or (sometimes) better... have an opening script (a script that runs when 
the file is opened) set the global to its default value.

problems with that are that if you "open" a file by going to a layout 
with a related field (which "opens" the file) the opener script does not 
run - the FMP file has to be opened by a double-click or a script step.
