All,

Marc Liyanage has been a great resource for all things OS X and
server related (such as MySQL, PHP, etc.)

http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/

I've had nothing but great experiences with his builds and
instructions. May many people use his installs. They work. Good luck.

HTH

Michael
