[FX.php List] Development under FM8

I spoke to FileMaker not to long ago about this. I am working with them to
help supply FMSA developer licenses to parties that are interested in
working with the software and later becoming a potential customer.
FMWebschool receives absolutely "nothing" for providing this service. Our
only hope is that by providing this service, more individuals will get
excited about custom web publishing.

If you would like a developer copy:

I am working with FileMaker to help individuals get Developer copies of
FMSA. If you would like a copy of the developer version email me back
channel. I will need your mailing address, and the state where you live.

You are, unfortunately, 100% correct. Thankyou FileMaker.

You'll only be able to manage it if you can connect to your remote FMSA
installation to retrieve data for your testing pages.

We made the mistake of buying separate copies of FMS and FMSA, thinking that
it would mirror our existing set up with FM Server (v5.5) and FM6U. Of
course, we soon discovered it doesn't work that way at all. Luckily, we are
just in our testing phase, and the existing solutions are all PHP anyway, so
I just point my local test pages at the FMSA box. I don't do any off-site
development for FM, at least not for the web, so I don't have your exact
problem. But I certainly do empathise.

But of course, since you can't connect the web server module to FMS - it has
to be FMSA - we may be forced to buy a second license for FMSA. Grrr ....
