Hi Peter,
I work as an instructional technologist at Central Washington
University. A solution that I previously used with CDML was to
create a database of images from a script. The images were kept in a
directory (on a Mac) and copy and paste was used to get the names
into a field in the database. The script then created records from
the info in the field. That was a good way to show art history
images for art history courses.
Since upgrading to Filemaker 7/8 and using FX.php for web and
database connectivity I have not attempted a comparable solution.
What you have done looks just like what I need.
I would love to see the code for how you accomplished this.
Thanks,
Jane Chinn
