Message-ID: <928669AC-B7FF-4A42-A245-05069FE0DEF8@patin.com> I have a web app that has been running for 10 years; it?s been on FMS14 for the last few months and has been working fine. Today I moved it to another machine, which is also running FMS 14; the web test page works fine, the databases are the same ones that were on the previous machine. Permissions are properly set. If I run FMView() it returns a 0 error; if I run any FIND or even FINDALL, I get nothing. Has anyone seen something like this? I even tried restoring a backup from last night, to no avail. I tried using print_r($q) and get nothing there either. Thanks for any insights; this is driving me completely batty. I think it has to be a layout issue; I even recovered the file, which didn?t help. I?m now going to start with a blank layout and add a few fields at a time, and see what happens? So, I thought this: can I trigger the code that occurs when the index page loads (my ?main? page, containing all my JQuery)? If I can do that, it would be like arriving at the site fresh, which is exactly what I want to do. Here?s a thought: one of the 2 buttons calls the CANCEL function above; that can?t be causing a loop, could it? Should ?return false? be inside the function as opposed to outside it? The CANCEL button gets loaded on every page that I load into the DOM; all of them call this same code. So the code below is what gets called when you click the CANCEL button anytime it appears: // CANCEL $('.main').delegate('.cancel', 'click', function(){ var page = '<?php echo $_SESSION['homepage']; ?>'; //window.location = page; $('.main').load('date.php'),function (){ $('.title').html('testing'); $('#datepicker').datepicker(); } alert('test'); return false; }); I could just use the window.location command to reload the app, but that?s slow and clunky; I was hoping to do it this way, which is cleaner and faster. You can see it here: http://www.titanicbranson.com/new/index.php Note that you won?t see an error in Firebug when you click the CANCEL button? > On Dec 31, 2015, at 3:04 PM, Steve Winter <steve@bluecrocodile.co.nz> wrote: > > And that's only going to get called when the cancel button gets clicked... > > You've got them the wrong way round... DIV. So what I wanted to do was to reload my first content, which is ?date.php? and then set the TITLE to its initial state? But what I realized was that NOTHING I do in the CANCEL call is happening, except for loading the date page and showing the alert. I can?t seem to set the ?title? DIV, nor can I show the date picker widget? Another idea I had was to somehow mimic the loading of the document, so that I could call the code that occurs when one arrives at the page. Is there a way to trick the page into loading this code? $(document).ready(function(){ ? }); > On Dec 31, 2015, at 3:06 PM, Steve Winter <steve@bluecrocodile.co.nz> wrote: > > I'm totally lost about the structure of your document...
