Glenn,

You can use this link

fmp7://<server name or IP>/filename.fp7

which will open FM Pro and prompt you for the username/password. Then you
can drag that link from the browser address bar to the desktop.

Hi,

A while ago on a list maybe far-far-away someone posted the syntax of how to
open, with Filemaker Pro, a hosted file on a Filemaker Server that could be
used as a shortcut on a Windows desktop.

Anyone remember ?

I use "opener" files all the time, but this is an occasion when I don't want
to.
