[FX.php List] Value list error testing

Is there a way in PHP to test whether a value list exists, or to trap  
an error?

In other words, if I were to do this:

foreach($vlResult['valueLists']['bogus_list_name'] as $key=>$value) {

...

}

is there a way for me to first determine whether that list name  
actually exists?
