[FX.php List] Do non-field objects on layout affect performance?

Hi all

This may be a dumb question... but there *are* no dumb questions,  
right? ( ahem  ;-)

I know it's important not to have more fields on a web-accessed  
layout than will be used for those web calls.

Is there *any* impact on performance caused by having non-field  
objects on a web-accessed layout?  (text objects, graphic objects  
(boxes, lines), colors...)
