This fixed my bug also!

Duplicating the 'damaged' layout didn't help, but creating a new blank
layout and copying the necessary fields onto it, then referencing this
new layout eliminated my problem!

Subject: [FX.php List] Re: FX_Error

I found the bug. This has happened to me before.

Whenever I start changing the layout once I have connected php to the
database (i.e. adding fields, adding fields to layout, etc. but not
deleting ones already there) I get this error.

As soon as I delete the new fields from the layout, the problem ceases.
I think the XML must stay stored or something and it conflicts with
these new fields.

My advice to anyone knew to FX - make sure your database is 100%
complete before you make your code that accesses FX.
