[ANN] New Version of FX.php -- "The Best Way from FileMaker to the Web"

August 13, 2005  -  Announcing version 4.0 of FX.php!  FX.php is a 
free, open-source PHP class that works with FileMaker data via the Web.

The latest version can be downloaded for free (as always) from:

A large number of people have contributed to FX.php, and recent 
contributions and feedback from the community have helped to make this 
the best FX.php release ever.  Some of the new features include:

* An excellent utility called "FX Parser" by Lance Hallberg which will 
aid many users in understanding the FX.php data set.  Thanks Lance!

* Character encoding of data (both inbound and outbound) can now be 
specified.  (A big thanks to Masayuki Nii for contributing this!)

* The ability to connect to FM7 using HTTPS (SSL).  (Thanks to Chuck 
Chang for submitting this.)

* Support for ODBC.  (ODBC was tested with FM7SA and may work with 
other iODBC data sources as well, but has not been tested.)
